Background:I was born and raised in Florida. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Clemson University and a Masters of Education at Southern Wesleyan University. I am S. C. certified to teach elementary grades and students with intellectual, learning, and emotional disabilities. I have spent my entire teaching career working with students with disabilities.Family and Hobbies:When I am not at school, I spend as much time as I can with my children. My son is in the Air Force and currently stationed in California. My daughter is an Occupational Therapist in Savannah, Georgia.Currently, I have nine pets. They are an odd assortment of cats, dogs, horses, and a donkey. I enjoy taking care of them. Most weekends I can be found riding my horses on local trails. When I am not riding, you will find me curled up with a good mystery or watching an old movie.
